barron robertsonDefenders David Barron and Scott Robertson will be returning to bolster the Blues defence next season.

29 year old Robertson has endeared himself to Blues supporters with his all-action style, versatility and consistency, whether at centre half, right back or at the heart of midfield.

Having already racked up 155 appearances for Stranraer, Robbo now enters his fifth season at the club, following another successful campaign which saw him scoop several end of season awards.

Following an unfortunate start to his tenure at Stair Park, Barron has put his injury setbacks behind him to become a key player for the Blues, making a total of 28 appearances last season.

The double signing follows news that Ryan Wallace, Steven Bell, Cameron Belford, Max Currie and Ryan Thomson will all be at Stranraer for 2017/18, along with Scott Agnew and Kyle Turner.

We'll keep you up to date with any further developments.
