Central Defender joins the squad.
Stephen Aitken was delighted to capture the signing at training tonight (Thursday) of the 25 Year Old Central defender, Scott Robertson. The Ayrshire born centre half had featured in the managers sights all summer and will become a key member of the squad for the season ahead and Stephen was pleased to confirm the deal to the website tonight. Scott featured against Stranraer last season in the colours of Arbroath, making 31 appearances for the Red Lichties and he has also played for Partick Thistle and Stirling Albion who he left to join Fram Reykjavik in June 2011 but that move broke down at the very last minute and he never turned out for the Icelandic outfit. Prior to his spell at Forthbank his career had begun at Queen of the South and the highlight of his 4 seasons at Dumfries was a cameo 5 minute appearance in their Scottish Cup Final in 2008 against Rangers.
