Iain Dougan is a son of Stranraer and bleeds blue – now he’s at the helm of his hometown club.
The 51-year-old is in his seventh year serving on the committee and replaced Robert Rice as chairman at the recent Annual General Meeting.
Dougan lives in Glasgow’s West End and works in the central belt.

Stranraer kick-off the 2015-16 campaign on Saturday with a trip to Queen of the South in the first round of the Petrofac Cup. Preparations for the big south-west derby will continue this week while Blues fans look forward to the curtain raiser at Palmerston. Boss Brian Reid took time out to give his thoughts to SFC Media on what has been a summer of hard work.

Lee MairStranraer FC are pleased to reveal the arrival of the experienced former Dundee, Stockport County, Dundee United, Aberdeen,  St Mirren, Partick Thistle and Dumbarton defender Lee Mair as our new Player/Assistant Manager. All told, Lee has experience of well over 200 games at the highest level in Scotland and the 34 year old confirmed that he was looking forward to this new challenge which would also be his first venture into management. Manager Brian Reid said: "I'm delighted to have persuaded Lee to come on board. I believe he will be a huge asset to the club both on and off the park and I'm looking forward to us working together".
When putting pen to paper this afternoon, Lee said: "I'm excited by the challenge of combining management with playing and I can't wait to get going and have already started making contact with a few people that I know within the game, both in the playing and coaching capacity to add to the options that Brian and I will have in putting next seasons squad together".
