mmcguigan1516smallStranraer FC are delighted to announce the return of strikers Craig Malcolm and Mark McGuigan for the 2016/17 season.

Manager Brian Reid fought off competition from a host of other clubs to retain the East Kilbride-based duo, who fired the Blues to the playoffs last term.

Malcolm, 29, was top scorer with 14 goals in his 5th season at the club, and has now made well over 200 appearances for Stranraer.

McGuigan, 27, signed from Albion Rovers last summer, and became a firm favourite with the fans as he hit a hot streak from mid-February onwards, scoring 9 goals in 15 games.

Both players will join up with the squad for pre-season on Monday 20th June.
Manager Brian Reid today moved to end speculation on his future by informing the Chairman he was keen to stay in charge of Stranraer FC.
