Belford, 27, made his debut in February as a loanee from Wrexham. The popular shot-stopper went on to chalk up 10 clean sheets in 20 appearances for Stranraer, and played a crucial role in our push for the playoffs.
Cammy commented on Twitter: "Delighted to have signed for Stranraer FC. As I said at the end of last season there was only one place I was going! Can't wait for the new season".
Popular figure Franko said: "I have many happy memories of my first time at Stair Park, and look forward to creating many more as I move towards my 200th appearance for the Blues next season".
Chairman Iain Dougan said: "We were in a vulnerable position as the manager's contract ran down with many clubs in the market for a new manager, but Brian distanced himself from speculation and we're delighted that he's now on board for another 2 years".
The midfielder made the switch from St Mirren to Stranraer last month and looks like being a key figure as the Blues attempt to make it fourth time lucky and win promotion to the Championship.
