Liam Dick Signs

ldick1516smallManager Brian Reid was pleased last night to agree terms with talented left back Liam Dick for 2016/17.

Brian said: "Liam showed by winning Stranraer Young Player of the Year while on loan from Falkirk that he is a capable defender, and one I'm delighted will be staying with us for the coming season".

Reid also revealed that experienced defender David Barron will again join the squad for pre season training.

"Everyone could see Div is a class player. Unfortunately his season was devastated by injury, but we all hope he can come back and push for a long term starting position with us next season".

Belford Is Back

CBP 5928 9389Goalkeeper Cameron Belford delighted Blues fans today by signing on for next season.

Belford, 27, made his debut in February as a loanee from Wrexham. The popular shot-stopper went on to chalk up 10 clean sheets in 20 appearances for Stranraer, and played a crucial role in our push for the playoffs.

Cammy commented on Twitter: "Delighted to have signed for Stranraer FC. As I said at the end of last season there was only one place I was going! Can't wait for the new season".

Franko Returns

fmckeown1415smallFormer skipper Frank McKeown put pen to paper tonight for season 2016/17, after passing a medical at our Lochinch training facility.

Popular figure Franko said: "I have many happy memories of my first time at Stair Park, and look forward to creating many more as I move towards my 200th appearance for the Blues next season".
