Franko Returns

Popular figure Franko said: "I have many happy memories of my first time at Stair Park, and look forward to creating many more as I move towards my 200th appearance for the Blues next season".

Reid Signs New Contract

Brian ReidManager Brian Reid tonight committed to the club by signing a new 2 year contract.

Chairman Iain Dougan said: "We were in a vulnerable position as the manager's contract ran down with many clubs in the market for a new manager, but Brian distanced himself from speculation and we're delighted that he's now on board for another 2 years".

Scott Agnew interview

sagnew0910largeRETURNING Scott Agnew has vowed to win over Stranraer fans all over again after re-joining the club.

The midfielder made the switch from St Mirren to Stranraer last month and looks like being a key figure as the Blues attempt to make it fourth time lucky and win promotion to the Championship.

Betfred Cup draw

Betfred Cup 2016 17Stranraer will be joined by Motherwell, Rangers, Annan Athletic and East Stirlingshire in Group F of the Betfred Cup.

Cameron Belford Talks to SFC Media

STRANRAEcbelford1516smallR will be in safe hands next season, with goalkeeper Cameron Belford describing it as "very likely" that he would be returning to the club.

The shotstopper became a firm favourite with the Stair Park faithful during a six-month loan deal.

Strikers return

mmcguigan1516smallStranraer FC are delighted to announce the return of strikers Craig Malcolm and Mark McGuigan for the 2016/17 season.

Manager Brian Reid fought off competition from a host of other clubs to retain the East Kilbride-based duo, who fired the Blues to the playoffs last term.

Malcolm, 29, was top scorer with 14 goals in his 5th season at the club, and has now made well over 200 appearances for Stranraer.

McGuigan, 27, signed from Albion Rovers last summer, and became a firm favourite with the fans as he hit a hot streak from mid-February onwards, scoring 9 goals in 15 games.

Both players will join up with the squad for pre-season on Monday 20th June.
