Stranraer defeated a Partick Thistle side at Stair Park this afternoon.
New signing Smart Osadolor opened the scoring when he converted from the spot with a looping finish after being fouled in the box. Calvin Kemp made it two on the rebound after some great reflex goalkeeping from the Thistle keeper.
Despite the Jags twice coming back into it, a second half double from Willie Gibson put the Blues out of sight - the first a tidy bottom corner finish just after coming on, the second a trademark free kick into the same corner of the goal. All in all, a good workout for the Blues.
Manager Brian Reid is keen to get back in the dugout ahead of Stranraer's first pre-season fixture of 2016/17.

New Stranraer assistant manager Chris Aitken talks to Stuart Monteith about his appointment, his brother, signings and the season ahead.
Chris Aitken tonight signed a contract to take over as Stranraer's Assistant Manager.
Aitken, 36, scored 33 goals in 151 appearances for the Blues as a player, and has been working towards his 'B' Licence. He has now been sanctioned by the SFA to take over the role.
The former midfielder, affectionately known as 'Tiff', said: "I've been at the club 5 years now, and I'm excited about taking on this new role".
Manager Brian Reid was equally pleased: "I've known Chris a long time and when Lee (Mair) left the club I saw him as the natural choice to take over. Obviously we had to get it ratified by the authorities before it could be completed, not to jeopardise our club licensing position, but I'm delighted that it's now all finalised".
